So, let’s say I want to frame my photo online. How Can I Do It?

Step 1 — Open the Online Tool

First, I click on the Create button to open the photo editor. If you don’t have an account yet, you can make one really quickly.

Step 2 — Create a New Document

Click on the New menu to create a new document. Choose any size you want or pick one of the pre-made blank templates.

Step 3 — Choose a Picture Frame

Go to Elements > Frames and pick a photo frame. If you like classic frames, check out the Wood frames category.

Usually the vintage picture frames are elegant antique wooden frames. The gold leaf frames are great not only for old style paintings but also for portrait photos.

Click on the ✨Filters from the top menu and add any filter you like from the list. They are all smart filters perfect for non destructive editing.

From the top menu, you can also add a Shadow effect to make the frame more realistic.

Step 4 — Add A Rectangle Frame

For this example I picked a rectangle frame. So, go to Elements > Shapes > Geometric and add a rectangle shape.

TIP: If you pick a round frame, add a circle shape.

Go to Color on the top menu and set the color transparent.

Go to Stroke and add a simple white border. You can even add two borders.

Step 5 — Upload Photo Online

You can upload photo online. Click on the Uploads menu and upload your photo. Then, click on the photo to add it on the canvas.

Or, you can use a photo from the Elements > Photos gallery.

Click on the Add Mask button and then click on the Rectangle shape to add it as mask for the photo.

Resize the photo to cover the mask and align it as you like. Also click on the Send Backward button.

Select the Frame layer and click on the Bring Forward button to put the frame on top.

Step 6 — Download Image (JPG, PNG, PDF)

Don’t forget to click on the Save button to save the design in your templates gallery.

Then, go to Download and choose the file format: JPG, PNG with transparent background or PDF for print.
